About Us

Our Identity: Eastern Iowa Liberian Association (EILA)

Vision & Mission

The Eastern Iowa Liberian Association (EILA) was established with a singular, driving purpose: to transform the lives of Liberians through our community service. We operate as an umbrella organization, launching progressive projects that actively promote the welfare of every Liberian, from our local community to the homeland.

Our vision is rooted in unifying Iowa Liberians with a shared purpose to establish priorities, clarify vision, and align resources and talents. We are dedicated to translating this collective strength into tangible, positive change, particularly impacting underprivileged Liberians across the globe.

Foundation Principles

EILA believes that true life is all about knowing, trusting, and serving God. Physical life offers us the unparalleled opportunity to invest in eternity. We guide our ministry by these principles:

Knowledge and Obedience: We believe reading God's Word teaches us what God wants us to do. It is through obedience that this knowledge moves from our heads to our hands in serving others and serving God.

Kingdom Investment: We view every project and donation as a Kingdom Investment, ensuring that our efforts not only provide material assistance but also spiritual growth.

Commitment to Transparency and Impact

EILA is proud to be recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization . This status underscores our commitment to operating with integrity and transparency, ensuring that your thoughtful support maximizes its impact.
We are committed to:

Accountability: We maintain an approved non-profit rate for transactions, such as the 2.2% + $0.30 rate per domestic transaction through PayPal, maximizing the value of every donation.

Actionable Ministry: Our partnerships, like the one with AWANA Liberia , demonstrate our commitment to actionable ministry, such as running the Partnership Camp where 49 campers made a salvation decision.

We are grateful to our generous donors for remaining an integral part of this effort. You are highly appreciated.
